Management Team
Reiner Jaeckle – Founder and Chief Operations Officer
Mr. Jaeckle is a 35 year veteran of the industrial / utility electrical industry. He began his career in 1974 as an intern at Siemans AG. Early on he was exposed to large industrial projects involving both high voltage power systems and automation. Mr. Jaeckle brings a well-rounded work history and wealth of experience to MetroTek that includes business development, operations, and project management. Additional work experience includes management positions with Gilbane Constructors and Foster Wheeler, as well as over 30 years with MetroTek. Mr. Jaeckle currently holds a NJ state electrical license, BISCI certification, and is a member of NECA.
James Wardlow – Director of Project Management
Mr. Wardlow has over 30 years of experience in the electrical construction industry and began his career at Lyons Electric as an apprentice. Since then, Mr. Wardlow has been with MetroTek for over 4 years. His responsibilities include general administration, discipline, crew composition, schedule interpretation and impacts, project logistics, material and equipment schedules, cross-functional team formation, and critical path method (CPM) networking techniques.
Dan Smiley – Underground Utilities Director
Mr. Smiley has over 25 years of experience in the electrical construction industry, including 20 years supervising underground and overhead utility / power systems for MetroTek. He oversees excavation activities, pole setting, substation construction, as well as direction boring.
Jim Cook – PLC and Instrumentation Controls Director
Mr. Cook has over 34 years of experience in the electrical construction industry. Mr. Cook’s areas of expertise include Programmable Logic Controllers and instrumentation maintenance, repair, and installation. Mr. Cook is an experienced supervisor and installations foreman, with much of his experience in the industrial, water treatment, and pharmaceutical business areas. He is an ISA Level 1 control systems technician, the IBEW instructor for the apprentice training program, and has been with MetroTek since 2006.
Ryan Wardlow – Director of Pharmaceutical Instrumentation
Mr. Wardlow has 14 years of experience in the electrical and pharmaceutical industries. He currently oversees the installation and calibration of pharmaceutical processes and lab instrumentation. Mr. Wardlow has been with MetroTek for 3 years in a project management and supervisory role.
Andrew AuYong – Telecommunications Director
Mr. AuYong has 28 years of experience in the electrical construction and telecommunications industry. His specialties and areas of expertise include data networks, security systems and cameras, fire alarms and life safety, fiber optics, and telephone systems. He is BISCI certified and a Hubble certified data / fiber installer, qualifying his installations for 10 year factory warranties. Mr. AuYong has been MetroTek’s telecommunications supervisor since 1991.
Bryan Strohl – Safety Director
Mr. Strohl has over 40 years of experience in the electrical construction and utility industry, primarily with Bethlehem Steel. Mr. Strohl currently handles on site safety responsibilities and has been with MetroTek for over a year in this capacity.
