Labor Force

MetroTek presently employees a series of skilled full time electrical labor ranging from general construction electricians to high voltage lineman, instrumentation technicians, fiber/telecommunications technicians and automation/control wireman. Other disciplines employed by MetroTek are civil construction crews that perform site development, excavation, large diameter boring and concrete foundations. The civil crew consists of one General foreman, one electrical apprentice, 2 equipment operators and 4 laborers. MetroTek has collective bargaining agreements with 12 IBEW local unions that allows our projects to be supplied with adequate on demand skilled labor that allow on time completion of scheduled projects. Additionally, MetroTek employees 6 full time support staff personnel that include 2 project managers, an administrative assistance, controller, CTO and grant/research/political writer.
